Permanent makeup usually lasts between 1-3 years. This differs person to person according to a range of factors such as ages, medication, skin type, exposure to UV rays and health. I recommend a yearly top up to keep your look as fresh as possible.
-
Each treatment is bespoke and takes between 1-2.5 hours depending on the style agreed upon. At the first appointment, there is also paperwork to complete such as a consent form and medical history. I also need to take pictures before and after each treatment.

The colour is always more intense straight after treatment – this will settle, and the colour will fade during the healing process to leave you with your perfect shade. You may experience a little swelling and some redness immediately after the treatment, but this will settle quickly.
-
Very much so. I always conduct a patch test beforehand (a minimum of 24 hours before treatment) with both the anaesthetic and the pigment to ensure there is no allergic reaction. The pigments I use are all hypoallergenic, sterile, and tested to the highest standards. The pigments are also vegan and cruelty free. Any equipment used is fully sterile and is single use only and all surfaces including the treatment couch and trolley is disinfected between each client with a full clean every evening once I am finished for the day.

Provided clients follow the aftercare instructions, there is minimal risk involved. Clients will be given a copy of aftercare instructions to take home along with some vitamin A&D cream and aftercare will be discussed prior to the procedure commencing.

Absolutely! Anyone can have a brow treatment. If you have sparse patches or no brow hair, hair stroke brows and some soft powder shading would be ideal for you.
-
Definitely… and you won’t have to worry about reapplying lipstick or your eye makeup smudging, running, or melting. If you are looking to have permanent makeup and are getting married, please contact me as soon as possible for your free consultation so we can discuss requirements and get you booked in. You will have a top up 6 weeks after your initial procedure, so we need to start 12-14 weeks before your wedding to achieve the final healed result ready for your big day. You can top up with traditional makeup on the day should you wish to but having brows, eyeliner or lips done will enhance your natural beauty and leave you looking perfect.
-
Yes, you can! All eyebrow treatments are bespoke, and I colour match the shade or shades to use based on you and your skin tone.

The sensation will vary client to client, so this is a tough one to answer. I use topical anaesthetic cream or gel to ease any discomfort. This is topped up mid treatment with a secondary anaesthetic to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. I have had my own brows, eyeliner and lips done so I can absolutely advise on my experience. Most clients just report a slightly scratchy sensation.

You must be 18 years or older to have permanent makeup. I cannot work on pregnant or breastfeeding women either. Some medical conditions may require a doctors note for me to carry out the treatment and some others are contraindications to permanent makeup meaning I would not be able to carry out a treatment. Please feel free to book in for a no obligation consultation or pop me a message to discuss further.

Permanent makeup is for EVERYONE! It is great for people with cranio facial hyperhidrosis, impaired vision, people who struggle with application of conventional makeup, those with impaired movement or ability following medical conditions such as a stroke, those with an active lifestyle like busy mums or those who swim or go to the gym regularly. Brow and lash treatments are ideal for people with hair loss from alopecia, trichotillomania, or chemotherapy or just those with sparse brows from either genetics or, if you are like me, years of overplucking! Permanent makeup can also help correct asymmetry, enhance features, and hide scarring. It’s not just for women either, plenty of men also have permanent makeup, it really is for everyone. Give yourself a confidence boost with a permanent makeup procedure. Contact me to see how I can help you.

A valid question! After all, this is your face we are talking about. The answer is, absolutely not. There are so many styles available, and each treatment is tailored to you. The beauty of a consultation beforehand is to give us chance to discuss your requirements and desires and come up with a plan for you. Assorted styles along with bespoke colour matching, ensure the perfect colour match for you mean you will not look fake at all.
-
The consultation is time for us to discuss your wants and work out a treatment plan for you to achieve your goal. I can help you decide on shape, colour and style and will be able to provide a better idea of the amount of time needed to achieve this as well as number of appointments. I carry out patch tests at the consultation stage too so we can ensure you are not allergic to the pigment or anaesthetic used.

Each customer is given aftercare advice after the treatment and given an aftercare guide to take away along with a cream to apply during the healing process. Provided the aftercare steps are followed, there should be no complications with treatment. Your price includes the treatment and then a follow up at around 6 weeks later to refine and correct any areas where you may have lost colour. After this, continue as you usually would and then book in for a colour refresh a year later (some clients may be able to go longer without a refresh, this varies according to the individual). Make sure you use sunscreen as UV exposure can fade pigment faster!
